The Israel Museum in Jerusalem has joined forces with Google to place its galleries and hundreds of highlights from its permanent collection online. The partnership with the Google Art Project brings to a global internet audience 520 of the most important objects in the Israel Museum’s collections.

The exhibition "Armenia. Impronte di una civiltà" ("Armenia. Impressions of a civilization") was inaugurated on 16th December 2010 in the rooms of the Correr Museum in Venice. The occasion for the exhibition, which will remain open until 10th April, is the celebration of the five hundredth anniversary of the first book to be printed in Armenian, which was in Venice in 1512.

In Arna’s Children, life and death defy and pursue one another. Apparently, it is the latter that has the better. Hardly any of the leading figures in this documentary are still with us. The only one to have left us after a life that was not too short, and lived with great enthusiasm, is Arna herself, a Jewish Israeli pasionaria who died of cancer at 66 in 1995. Many of her children, young Palestinians who lived in the refugee camp of Jenin, in the West Bank, joined her shortly afterwards, killed during the armed struggle against the Israeli occupation or embracing the extreme option of suicide terrorism.

Thanks to a new DVD, it's now possible to return to the Holy Land with Benedict XVI and relive his historic pilgrimage to the region, his visits to the holy sites and to listen to his words of hope and reconciliation to the peoples of the Middle East. The DVD has been released by Vatican Television Center and the Franciscan Media Center in Jerusalem and is available in three languages (Italian, English, Arabic).
